  So I just got off the phone from a long Marathon and long story short they did what they thought they couldn't do for me so I know people have bad experiences but as far as the Federal reserve controlled banking system these guys aren't the worst lol Sarah and the lady from payments receiving I can't remember your name but thank you so much and then the first lady I talked to originally credit to the team! Management if you see this please relay the message!

  Had to close the account because they take fees out and will not work with you if you haven't made a deposit for awhile. They are rude towards retired people and think it's all right to steal from my account. Very unhappy with the attitude of service. There bank is becoming a woke business towards old customers that have been doing business for years. I can't help to think they are using my money and charging me for keeping it their. I use to have loans with them but I don't trust the management or the people that treated me wrong. They need to get some old time friendliness in there before their credit union goes under. It's too bad what is happening to businesses today. WECU is now one of them.

  Hello Rod, WECU's inactivity fee for accounts that have been dormant for more than 12 months is $2. Other financial institutions charge an inactivity fee between $10-20 if an account is dormant for more than six months. We understand that no one likes paying any fees, but hopefully you can see that we do our best to keep them as low as possible. As for the friendliness and the way you felt, we will examine our practices to ensure that policies such as this are communicated in the most friendly, caring, and thoughtful way possible in the future.

  I haven't had to many problems in person but banking over the phone takes forever. I've been waiting for a call back for almost an hour
