  Staff is friendly but are always understaffed. I sit here in line, yet again, with only one register open, wondering why I still bank with Wells.

  I visited this local branch to do an escrow wire transfer and it was a terrible experience. I called this branch at 9am on the dot this morning right when they opened to ask what’s the cutoff time for sending a wire transfer today. Sean said I just had to initiate the transfer no later than 2:30pm to have it GUARANTEED to go out today. I personally scheduled a 1pm meeting with him on the phone on that same call. I showed up 10 minutes early, initiated the transfer no later than 1:15pm and was given confirmation paperwork from Sean and left the branch. I got a call from the escrow company at 3:43pm saying the wire transfer had not gone through yet. I thought that was super odd so I called Sean at this branch and he said he needed 5 minutes to look into and call me back. HE DID NOT CALL ME BACK. I finally called at about 4:45pm right before they closed and talked to Phil. He said Sean was not available. I begged him to look into why my wire transfer didn’t go through. After being on hold for several minutes Phil got back on and just said it will go out on Monday. This is completely unacceptable! There is a very specific reason people choose to wire transfer large amounts of money—because it needs go out FAST! We now risk losing this home due to complete negligence. We’ve already moved both of our business accounts over to a competitor bank and plan do now move our last remaining personal accounts if or when we settle on this home purchase. If you decide to do an escrow wire transfer DO NOT do it through Wells Fargo, and certainly not through this branch.
