  A great place to be at home. You are responded to immediatly and they will go out of their way to help you with your need. Malcomb helped me with several gun purchases. I was overwhelmed with his knowledge and how explained the gun function that I purchased. I have been a client of Wild Bills since moving from Dallas a decade ago. Never have had an unpleasant experience. In fact even for a short social moment with one of the employees it is worth a stop. Wild Bills has several locations in Abilene a trophy establishment

  Walked in with $1200 to buy me a rifle. Stood there being stared at for almost an hour. STANDING IN THE SAME SPOT. I was probably gonna spend the most money in the store than anyone else. I was standing within a foot from the counter and nobody ever asked if I needed help. Instead decided to sell this older woman a sccy .380. Probably the worst firearm in their selection, and he sold her on the lie that it was very reliable and a great firearm. Another man walked in after I had been there 30 minutes and he was quickly attended to. I don’t like to say it’s a race thing, but being the only African American in the store I was never greeted upon entry, or asked a single question. Not saying it’s racism. Just saying maybe they thought I was there to goof off. I was going to spend AT LEAST $700 with them that day. Sad to say I will NEVER buy ANYTHING from a wild bills pawn shop after this experience. The worst part was there was only 3 customers in the store, including me!

  Please let me know what time you came in. We have reviewed video of all the SCCY pistols we have sold at and around the time you posted this comment and cannot seem to find the incident. The new SCCY pistols that we sell carry a lifetime warranty. Some people are not able to afford a higher end or higher priced item. We hope to provide whatever fits that certain persons budget with the best firearm we can provide. We have two team member's out of the seven working at that location that are African Americans so to even imply that it was because you are African American is not only wrong but insulting as well. We would be more than willing to sit down and watch video with you of the incident if you could more clarify when this happened, or even a more clear time frame when this happened.
