  As a first time home buyer I remember having so many questions about this entire process. But everyone I worked with at Willow Bend was helpful in answering all of my questions. Now that I have closed I could not be happier with the decision I made to go with Willow Bend. I have recommended this company to friends and will continue to do so in the future.

  We dealt with willow bend for almost a year as our construction company has been slow & inattentive to say the least. While dealing with willow bend we had to work with Robert as well. The only time Robert was professional, was during the first meeting. After that, it all went down hill. During one of his meetings with my bf, he was cutting his finger nails while my bf was explaining to him that we were having to increase our loan because our construction company didn’t buy the lumber when they were supposed to & now we had to pay an extra 10k. So you can imagine how upset he was having to go in, in the first place & then to have this guy, cutting his nails without a care in the world, speaks volumes. The last time we dealt with Robert was when we were going to start the closing process. He started blaming us for the high interest rate we were going to get because we didn’t start soon enough. LIKE WHAT? How is it our fault that our construction company hasn’t finished our home?! None the less, we got a high interest rate and needed to pay thousands in closings costs. Thankfully my bf called me before signing and I told him to leave as we were no longer doing business with them. I found another mortgage company that saved us like 2-3k in closing costs AND gave us a better rate. So what does Robert do when he finds out we’re no longer closing with him? He calls my bf to tell him that he “did him dirty” 😂! My bf “did him dirty” yet Robert was giving us a high interest rate and then has the audacity to tell us that he can match the rate we were given by another company. We said no and he didn’t like that. Told us that the appraisal on the house was going to come in 20k under. My bf and Robert exchanged some strong words (cussing) & that was the end of it. 0 professionalism! At the end of the day, we went with another mortgage company, saved on closings costs, got a better rate and our appraisal came in THOUSANDS over! We’re so happy we did not do business with this company 😊

  Do your research and pay attention to the bad reviews because we didn’t, after being referred to them would not recommend, find out for your self if you don’t believe the negative reviews just like my family had to the hard way.
