      Went there a couple of days ago to open an account....seemed okay until I found out if you close your account there is a FEE, I said if it is their fault do I still have to pay a fee....YES....I am so tired of banks charging a fee for everything they can think up, I had a check over $10,000 to deposit. The teller told me it would be at least 10 days until the money would be accessible....IT WAS A CASHIERS CHECK FROM HERITAGE SOUTH CREDIT UNION just down the street. I told the clerk there are too many banks in this area not to compete and I left...... BB&T called and got it verified same day and charge no fee if you close your account......
