  I have worked with Odest and Tomas at WLM on and off for years. When you get to know them, one of the first things you realize is they are both genuine people who gravitate other genuine people to them. They always treat everyone with respect, kindness, care and love. These two individuals often put others before themselves. These are a few (out of many) highlights of their personalities and it shows from the moment you meet them and it echoes even from behind the scenes. I was responsible for building and maintaining their marketing content and website, working with them was always fun and entertaining. Their vision for the future is amazing and I was glad to be apart of it. They focus heavily on community outreach and service. Since Odest and Tomas are both from the Inglewood area, they have seen all of then changes, ups and downs and everything happen here and they have been a driving force of success. They host free seminars to help people around them understand their assets and become ready to acquire more. These two have educated their community members and work closely with elected officials to help every individual who works with them take advantage of everything the city (and surrounding cities) have to offer. I held off on writing a review all of these years because i didn't find it proper to do so until I worked as their client. So now I am happy to share my experience. In late September 2019, My Wife and I decided that it was time to buy a house. At the time I lived in Pasadena (with family) and I commuted daily to Beverly Hills. I couldn't afford much home and in LA's climate. $300,000 left me with little options. So we decided that we would buy a condo, In between Van Nuys and Woodland Hills. We started visiting open houses, and many of the agents there were either hostile that I didn't have a realtor or they were aggressively trying to poach my business. With that happening on numerous accounts I decided to call up my friends at WLM. They were stoked. The great thing about WLM Financial is they do real estate and lending. They got me pre-qualified very quickly and almost immediately we were off on the longest uphill battle of my life. They used the MLS, a service that has all the listings and more data than any regular other real estate search engine. With that tool, they were able to help me narrow down potential candidates. The truth about real estate is it is a competition, we submitted multiple offers along with many other people. Many times we were out-bid and it was quite discouraging. Odest helped me keep my head screwed on right and assured me that if we kept looking, we would find something and we did. We spread out a bit but found ourselves in Lancaster. We submitted a nice offer on a home and it was accepted. Just when you think you won the war, you realize it had only begun. Escrow started and the paper battle began. There were so many documents that required my signature and I couldn't make it down to their office so they sent me e-docs which made everything super convenient. Tomas secured a great loan for me and even fought for a lower interest rate. The escrow went so smooth that the house closed and cleared in 8 days. That's apparently a really fast time with many Escrows averaging 20-30 days. With all that being said, buying a home is a jumble fun, stress, anger, pain, happiness and bliss. When you decide to take on that process, you want good, knowledgeable, honorable, efficient and resilient people on your side. People that don't put money and greed first, but instead client loyalty and integrity. That's who you get when you work with WLM Financial.

  This community focused and ran business here in the heart of Inglewood truly believes in giving back and building up. It's a wonderful boutique office 111 N. La Brea Avenue a few blocks away from The Forum. I have know the owners for over a decade and can say that their passion for their community is real. They do this on their off days. If you believe in supporting local and want to know your money is going back to where you live give them a call. If you want to know that some is working as hard for your family as they would for their own give them a call. These are two of the hardest working men I know. With a knowledge of the city that comes from a lifetime in it. Both the men and their staff are phenomenal whether they are assisting you with a purchase/sale or offering you counsel and guidance to you and your staff.
