      It's upsetting when they won't cash in my coins because "I don't have an account with them." I have a safe deposit box and several retirement accounts with their financial advisors. A couple years ago when I needed to consolidate private student loans they wouldn't offer a home equity loan or anything else reasonable. The only thing they would offer was an 8% ARM or to roll the student loans into a 30 mortgage refinance! Honestly, this turned out to be a good experience since I shopped around and got a home equity loan through Altra Federal Credit Union at 2.85% interest. I'm not sure how WNB makes it since they're not competitive. Their average mortgage rate is consistently above other banks in the area. If you want good rates, go to Altra Federal Credit Union. If you want good customer service, go to Altra Federal Credit Union. If you want to cash in your coins, go to Altra - they'll probably cash them in even if you're not a member.
