      I've been banking with Xcel since 2010 and have financed three cars, several personal/home improvement loans and a credit card so far. I've always gotten good rates. The service is slower than .com banks and the big banks and credit unions. But the rates are lower and you aren't just a credit score. They talk with you and explain if you need to pay something off to get approved and they don't just send a dear john letter. They will even encourage you to take a lesser term and pay less interest if you can. Xcel is small and it will take them a day to process something. They aren't a sign and drive kinda place, but the rates are simply awesome. I'm sorry, but for me waiting 24-48 hours is worth saving a few thousand $ in interest.

      This place is terrible and it’s only gotten worse since Covid. Shame on me for listening to my employer to sign up! the accounting department is incompetent, upper management is a joke !! Do yourself a favor and go to a real bank!
