UNPROFESSIONAL & UNRESPONSIVE. New Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses: THIS IS NOT THE CPA FIRM FOR YOU. If your business does not make money quickly, this firm will stop answering your calls / emails. If you have questions throughout the year, you won’t get them answered here. Phillip Zagotti (the owner) helped me start a couple businesses in 2016. His firm did the final portion of my annual Federal Tax forms and filing for 4 years. Since I am an MBA, I did most everything myself. The firm needed to do very, very little, yet they still couldn’t find a few minutes to answer my questions. THEY NEVER EVEN TOLD ME WHEN TAX DEADLINES WERE MOVED BY THE IRS! You would think a CPA firm would communicate important information with their clients. NOPE. They were a good firm at first. Then, the OWNER of the firm (ZAGOTTI) decided to get his law degree. He dropped off the face of the earth, and left his socially inept partner (BURDETTE) in charge. She could never figure out how to get two signatures (mine and my husband’s) on our returns (electronically). One year, she MISSPELLED MY HUSBAND’S NAME, causing us to be LOCKED OUT OF OUR ONLINE IRS ACCOUNT thereby DELAYING OUR STIMULUS CHECK !! I kept thinking that things would get better once the Owner was back. He was scheduled to take the bar about 1 1/2 yr ago. Still haven’t heard from him. THE OWNER VANISHED and the QUALITY OF HIS CPA FIRM WITH HIM.
