Normally when going into a bank it’s friendly, welcoming, and pleasant but that definitely was not the experience today when I came in for the first time to open an account for my business. The only reason I didn’t walk out was because of the fact this account is strictly for business and not personal. I had to leave out the bank to drive around to the atm because their machines inside weren’t working, and the teller was not friendly at all with hardly any expression. Despite it being so close to home I may never physically walk into this location again.

I've been using the nightly deposit envelope drop at the Southfield location on Thursday nights for Friday morning deposit. I've been utilizing it since February 2022 as it's on my way home and this location doesn't have an ATM deposit available. In February, my pay check always went in by lunchtime. The last 2 times, I had to leave work early because my check that was dropped in the night deposit wasn't in my account. Both times I walked into the branch about 5:30pm on Friday and my pay check still hadn't been deposited. This last time when I went inside the branch, after leaving work early, I was asked to see my ID. Why? I dropped my check in the after hours night depository......meaning that I don't have the opportunity to make it to the branch during business hours. I just don't understand. I would expect the night depository to be a priority in the mornings. I also don't understand how someone can deposit my check into an account that I didn't specify. The last 2 times I wanted my check deposited to my savings and both times it was messed up. March 25 my check was deposited to my Secondary savings, not the primary savings that I specified on the deposit ticket. And again today, April 8......my check was deposited to my checking when my deposit ticket specified the primary savings. Please be more careful and make night depository at Southfield a priority in the mornings...... don't wait until you're about to close to process. Thank you
