  Connie P in the Mortgage Dept has been very helpful. My Husband and I have our Mortgage, 2 saving accounts, a personnel loan that can be used if we want to use it & we had a vehicle loan with Zeal that we paid off too. The customer service is top notch, the interest rates are awesome. We go to the Westland and Livonia locations and we've never had a problem. Thank you Zeal Credit Union

  I tried three separate times to bank during my lunch break. The door had a CLOSED sign on it every day. I went around to the back business entrance and was told this location has been closed for months and to try another location. I also needed help over the phone before I tried coming into a branch location. The first day I stayed on hold for 40 minutes. No one ever answered. The second day, 20 minutes. No answer. The third day, I finally reached someone after waiting another 20 minutes. I am so unhappy with Zeal Credit Union as of late that when I do have the extra time, I will be closing my account.

We are working diligently to shorten our telephone wait times and that is improving daily. Regarding our Newburgh branch - we have tried our best to notify members that this branch is closed. The branch closed at the beginning of the pandemic and since that time, we have had a sign on the door stating it's closed, we have noted it as closed on our website, and have also noted it as closed in our Google listings.   I’ve been a customer of this credit union for 10 years. Wait time on hold is RIDICULOUS! No exaggeration, literally on hold for like 45 mins easily! I dont understand why they don’t consistently have a call back option (sometimes they do sometimes not). I’m getting tired of this credit union wasting time like this. In a minute I will close my account if this does not improve.
