George Mason mortgage has helped me in the last few years for both refinances and new purchases. I just completed two refinances a week ago. Jenny and Sue are very professional, knowledgeable about what they do, understands sense of urgency, honest and of all the things helpful in all transactions. I have dealt with other mortgage brokers/banks and big difference. I have seen other mortgage companies asking non-sense questions and getting back to me after 4 days. I will not go to any other mortgage company except George Mason, honest opinion. They gave me competitive rate and also explained everything thoroughly. They also have the electronic signing and document uploading process which makes it easy to submit documents. They answer my phone calls and questions the same day (soooo important), even if it is 6;30 pm Friday night, Sue gets back to me via phone or email. Very impressive and dedicated team!! Sometimes their underwriter ask questions but very reasonable questions for explanation. There is almost not much difference between the Good Faith Estimate numbers she sent me in the beginning of the loan process and at the end on the Closing documents. No surprises. Even my settlement company said good things about them and how they are easy to work with and very quick.

I wish I found Jenny and the team sooner! Jenny and Linh were a large part in making my purchase successful. I had to make a competitive offer on a condo in DC and was able to tell the seller that I could close by the end of the month. From the time of a ratified contract to settlement, it only took the team 7 business days to complete my closing. This is unheard of by any lender in the business, especially for a condo which requires condo docs. Not only that, I got a very competitive rate from George Mason and I can say that after 2 previous purchases and 1 refi, this is the best lending experience one could ask for. Thank you!!!
