      Last year I decided to purchase a property that needed renovations and 'flip' it here in DC and started looking for a lender that would not only be able to get me the money but also give me expert advice since it was my 'fist time'. I was recommended to Lee Smith by my brother-in-law who had used him also and had a great experience. I'm glad to say that I had a similar experience as Lee was not only an expert mortgage lender but also gave me the sound advice I desperately needed. I got a FHA 203k renovation mortgage at an excellent rate, to be sure, but Lee actually convinced me to make a few changes in my plans that I'm certain saved me thousands of dollars. I just wanted to say 'thanks!' to Lee and his associates for making my first time a lot less painful than it could have been. He's a very nice guy, always available to answer questions and knows the DC area better than anybody I've ever met.
