      I would rather have stored my money in a Ponzi Scheme with a known thief who is incarcerated in their mattress than use Alerus for anything. I mean anything. I wouldn't use their bathroom if it was offered for safety in a zombie apocalypse. This is top of the list of worst companies, worst customer service, worst everything. I can confidently tell you, I hate this business and how they practice every single aspect.

      Having been a client of Private Bank Minnesota (purchased by Alerus years ago) for many years, and Alerus since the takeover, I can say with absolute certainty that Alerus is the worst financial institution I have ever dealt with. And they have the worst website, worst customer service, and seem to think that paper checks by snail mail is state-of-the-art banking.
