  I had an account with Alpha Recovery group and when I called to take care of it I was helped by a very kind, patient, girl named Lanaye LaCrue. She was happy to help me and explained the process and how they ended up with my debt. She also was happy to take the time to ask her supervisor a couple of questions for me and it really changed my attitude toward debt collectors calling me. Her supervisor was very kind and patient as well. It just felt like she was there to help more so than just attempt to collect money and move on to the next. Also looking forward to seeing my credit score go up! Appreciate you guys!

  Harassing phone calls to me and my family members even after I verified and they agreed that I am not the correct person they are looking for. Verified social security number, birthdate, and addresses. Still, the company continues to harass and even went as far as to lie about their actions to the Consumer protection agency.

  Received text messages to contact "your representative from ARC", I had no clue what this company was so I tried to Google ARC but too many different companies popped up. My concern was that I have been waiting on very important phone calls so I decided to call to find out what company this was. Representative Michelle Romero answered and wanted to verify who I was and my personal identification, to which I became very concerned. I asked her to provide the company's name and business, what they do, so I could get a better understanding. She provided me the name and said she could not discuss anything else because it was personal information. I again asked her to verify what kind of business because I didn't fully understand but she argued she gave me the name and told me she couldn't discuss private personal information, I fully understand regulations regarding these matters but I was asking what kind of business this was and where they were located. She would not answer so I did a quick Google search, had her confirm it's a collection agency out of Colorado. I asked why she could not provide that information, it's my understanding by law collectors have to identify themselves, and she said she isn't required to. If she had provided this information when I asked I could have promptly provided her with pertinent information regarding the matter. 2 stars because she was polite but didn't help me to understand what the company does and made the experience too difficult.

  Alpha Recovery Corp is a 3rd party collection agency that is required to follow all laws associated with the FDCPA and regulations outlined by the CFPB. Because of this, we absolutely cannot disclose that we are a collection agency unless we know for absolute certain that we are speaking with the correct person. We appreciate your feedback.
