      I've been a member for over 25 years and Alps has always performed professionally. The one star rating based upon one missed payment by a member is not accurate. Alps is a local institution and continues to provide a valuable banking opportunity to the residents of Baranof Island

      They shut my girlfriends account down because she had a $10 outstanding balance for over 30 days.. and even worse they sent it to collections.. over $10 dollars, with minimal notice. She is in anchorage and hasn’t checked her account or mail for a while, and instead of being civil they threw the book at her- OVER TEN DOLLARS. Who does that? Shame on this company, and their penny pinching, impersonal methods.
