  I am a mortgage loan originator for AFN. And must inform those who are unhappy with AFR that they are grossly mistaken. This is a company run by top shelf individuals. I work with them every day. Rakesh is not only one of the best mortgage bankers I know he is very focused on his clients and taking great care of them. I would like to advise the others complaining about AFR. Your incorrect! I have borrowers that are friends of mine telling me they have been in process with Brand "X" for 5-6 months and don't have a closing date yet. Has anyone sat back and realized we are in an economic upheaval, we are have socio-economic problems and to mention a 20% unemployment rate in our minimum wage earners. Not to mention the 40,000 homeless people roaming the streets of LA every night. Oh yes, and don't forget appraisers are independent contractors and are very not exited about entering a home to do an appraisal. Please stop blaming AFR for the problems created by politics. Our country is in trouble, support the essential workers like us in the business who face-to-face clients every day so far through out this pandemic & economy. Titus Dare is my name and I have been in this business for 38 years. Please refer to the problems in 2000-2008. It is a telling story.

  This company is an absolute joke. They couldn't care less about their clients. I was considered a very low risk borrower. They wanted the same documents over and over, kicked back documents for not being in the correct format, took 3 months to close and worst of all, we've finally closed and they still haven't payed the seller after three days. They have ZERO sense of urgency. Avoid this company at all costs.

  This company is the worst, most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with. I closed on March 11th made my first payment May 1st. Then they sold my mortgage after 1st payment. Know there sending me letters saying I don't have insurance. How could I get a mortgage with out insurance. Dum azzs. Then today July 14th I get a voucher for 199 dollar's for insurance. Beware of the company. I all ways read reviews on business before I decide which one to use. I went through my bank not knowing that they use other companies. DONT USE AMERICAN FINANCIAL RESOURCES.
