  American Home Funding is completely unprofessional and prone to mistakes, and I would warn against anyone getting their mortgage through this company. During the loan funding and closing process, numerous mistakes were made by American Home Funding. The most egregious of which was when I was at the closing table with my builder, I learned that American Home Funding had neglected to send the correct borrower documents and information to the mortgage company. Due to their neglect, the closing process was almost canceled. I have receipts of how they completely failed during the process, and how I had been in communication with numerous employees at the company to update and correct these documents well before the closing date. Furthermore, in response to a valid complaint about American Home Funding, the president of the company displayed an utter lack of professionalism and respect, even going so far as to call a customer insulting and disparaging names. I have never seen such unprofessionalism and lack of respect towards a customer, in addition to the gross negligence of a company, as I have seen in my dealings with American Home Funding. Avoid at all costs!
