I've seen a lot of comments on their customer service being racially motivated. This was not the case when I went. I brought some stuff by to sell, got a decent deal, more than I expected. Good service. People of all races coming in, buying, selling, pawning, and walking out with a smile. These comments are either false or outdated. This is a great place to buy and sell used goods. Nothing wrong with American Pawn Shop at all. Cheers.

This is by far one of the nicer pawn shops in Thomasville. While still specialized firearm dealers they offer a very wide selection of music instruments (not just a single lonely guitar tucked away in a dusty corner), instrument accessories (strings, cases, ..), outdoor gear, and electronics. Very friendly staff, and good pricing, both for sellers and buyers. Easily accessible and spacious parking.
