  Were it possible to give minus stars, this shoddy operation would get minus five from me. I was put in touch with a mindless mortgage lender agent by the name of Angi Welch (an appropriate name since she welched on her obligation to me). I had cash on hand to buy my home, but little dear Angi talked me into applying for a VA loan; when you deal with the government, don't expect to get expedited service: these parasites, whose salaries we pay, become irritated if asked to perform their duties. A little petty court in Virginia, where I was sued by a welfare warrior whose only work involved getting unearned income, awarded the scumbag $5000.00 and failed to note that my malpractice insurance company paid. Little dear Angi Welch insisted that $5000.00 of my money be put in escrow at closing of my loan until I could show the matter was settled. Then little dear Angi Welch and a moron paralegal at the Zero Lancaster Law Firm in Asheville, NC neglected to maintain my $5000.00 in escrow, and without my consent or knowledge sent the $5000.00 to the fat stupid clerk of the court, a Ms Bulloch. This creep Bulloch has ignored my request that my money be returned to me, probably trying to figure out how to steal my $5000.00. Now I'll likely have to sue Bulloch or little dear Angi or Zero Lancaster to get my $5000.00 Stay away from Fidelity Mortgage--too much trouble. There are competent banks.
