  My experience with this company, particularly Aaron Huber, was not good. I’m glad to see others had a great experience. Though maybe they have better and more competent loan officers than I had. I used this lender at the beginning of Covid when things were very difficult to process new home loans and that process was tedious and frustrating. I assumed at the time that it was because of the pandemic and not the company/loan officers fault. However, fast forward 1+ year and having tried him again, I now am convinced it was the loan officer who was incompetent and not the pandemic. He frequently does not get back to text and emails in a timely matter. He gave complete fabrications regarding my appraisal costs and “credit” as he likes to call it (when they charged me extra than I had already paid for). Once I jumped ship to a new company who quoted me at 2.8 (which Aaron said was impossible blah blah blah), he could care less about keeping cordial ties or returning my texts when I was frustrated that he/his company could not transfer the appraisal in a timely matter. I would chalk it up to immaturity and competence. Buyer beware, use an older more competent officer if you use this company. But I wouldn’t use them at all. When I reached out to rectify the issue with the appraisal, the response from the company was to throw the Fanny Mae “rule” in my face instead of address the real issue I had, which was why he LIED TO ME and said the appraisal would not need a re-inspection and I wouldn’t have to pay another $150 on top of the $600 appraisal I already paid for. 🙄 How about just apologize for your employees blatant fabrication and be done with it. it’s a large company so they obviously could care less about keeping a prior customer. My new mortgage company has been a breeze to work with. No games. No back and forth. And they quoted me at 2.8 (with no stupid points added in) versus the 3.25 Ameritrust told me couldn’t be beaten because rates are up, blah blah blah. I will never use them again, nor recommend them to any of my colleagues, real estate friends, or family. Steer clear of Aaron Huber as your loan originator and ask for someone else if you must use this company.

  Russ Nelson has been such an incredible person to work with during my home buying journey as a first time home buyer! He has patiently walked me through each step of the process and explained every little detail - no matter how long it took. He made sure I understood all the new jargon related to home buying and kept me informed and updated all throughout the process. He has been so patient through every little bump on the road and last minute unexpected situations with Escrow and has always gone above and beyond to advocate for my behalf and process my documents as soon as possible! I truly appreciate his response time to any questions I had and how he has this unique way to genuinely showing you that he truly cares about you and that this isn’t just a business transaction. I definitely recommend Russ to any first time home buyer or anyone who appreciates a detailed approach to navigating the whole home buying process!!
