Kayla and her team are the best of the best. Through multiple issues that arose, Kayla kept close communication with me and helped me get through what I thought would be an impossible transaction. In dealing with a difficult appraiser who was not punctual, I had Kayla on my side fighting hard to get the deal to close. There were multiple times I thought it was going to fall through, but she was not going to let that happen on her watch. The deal closed, and I didn't lose my large deposit. Kayla stands out from other lenders because of her friendly and uplifting personality. I felt like I have known her for years even though we had never actually met in person. She takes pride in her work and it shows. I would highly recommend Kayla and her team if you want a successful homebuying process!

Kayla, Ashja and her team at Angel Oak were amazing. They were very responsive and walked me through each step, which I appreciated as a first-time home buyer. They did everything they could to help us with our move-in deadline and communicated to all the partners (realtor, appraiser, lawyer).
