Awful experience! They take months to get back to you and when they finally do, they say they don't have proper documentation. This is problematic because they constantly change what it is they need. The first call, they only needed one doctors note. Next call, they needed 2 docs notes, travelocity cancellation letter,. Next call, they needed medical reason (which is illegal). Then they said they needed proof of refund... WHAT? The whole purpose for the insurance is to get the refund. Don't waste your time or money on AOG.

We purchased this insurance in Feb 2020 after booking a weekend stay in NY city. As it turns out my husband & I both got the intestinal virus with 24 hrs of each other. Needless to say we were'nt able to go to NY. Our insurance claim is being denied because we don't have a doctors note. Being a nurse I know doctors do not want people that are vomiting to come to the office unless you have a fever . This insurance was a waste of money & we lost our money for the hotel rooms as well.
