This deal was supposed to be a 3-6 week turnaround on a cash out refinance. It has been 6 months. They take weeks to respond. Underwriters miss things they should have requested months ago if they had a legitimate concern. They said the deal was nearly clear to close and the only needed 1 correction on the company name on the insurance from llc to llp so we could close later that day . Then came up with other issues pertaining to other operating agreement and canceled closing. They changed our initial intrest rate due to delays on their end, which cost us thousands over th life of the loan. We are still trying to close this deal. These delays are holding up hundreds of thousands in funding that could have been reused over and over again. Never use them!!

These guys rebranded to Builders Trust Capital and I haven't had a great experience with them in regards to refinance/project financing. If you have a tight timeline, don't bet your deposit on using them. I had to close and get financed after the fact. Appraisers were way off with their numbers and their comps. Don't do 30 yr mortgages with them. It's the worst experience- extremely long wait times, delays, underwriting coming back and delaying financing for multiple weeks.
