Let me be clear, I completed the process for a refinance with them and decided not to proceed to closing by my own choice. I am not a disgruntled customer. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I received related to the following issue: BEWARE. If I had the option of entering less than one star, I would. When a company employs a mortgage banker that breaches fiduciary duty and stands beside the employee despite clear evidence, then I must conclude that Atlantic Bay supports the practices. Mortgage Banker Joshua Dollar, initiated a Homeowner's Insurance quote, authorized the quote for binding, and then didn't acknowledge my request that he fix the problem he created. The problem included money being removed from my current escrow account to pay for a policy I never asked for or authorized. I was then left holding the bag to cancel the policy, return funds to escrow, and sort out other issues with my current mortgage servicer. This was the worst experience I've ever had in my life. So disappointed in the follow up by higher executives that also screamed "cover our butts" rather than acknowledge the issue and move on.
