  Its pretty bad when a bank charges a $10. fee to cash a check . I work hard for the money are they so broke . organized crime at its best now you have to pay banks to stay in business

  Hello Charle, we appreciate you reaching out with this concern. Along with most other financial institutions, we do charge a fee if you are a non-customer cashing an Atlantic Union check. We welcome you to apply for a Free Checking account, which has no minimum balance or monthly service fee. You would then be free to cash or deposit your checks with no check cashing fee. You are also welcome to take the check to your current financial institution who will also be able to cash or deposit it at no charge to you. Thanks and stay safe! - Leah

  When Wachovia came under new ownership the level of customer service I had been accustomed to dropped. I didn't want to, but I had to switch banks. I am not a large customer, but I am greeted by name when I come in. There have been several problems, my fault, not Union's, that they have helped me work through. I am very happy I made the switch.
