  I agree with the previous statements.. horrible bank and spotty service. I had several business accounts that I closed and moved elsewhere.

  I've been with this bank for several years now but I don't plan on changing only because I've established a good connection with staff members in the Sherman location. Reason for this review is because of my recent visit to this location in VA. I've never had an issue with making deposits and since I am always in a hurry, I normally take the drive thru. Some backstory: I work for my dad doing landscaping and he usually gives me checks that are written for him and signs them over to me. We have been doing this process even back in Texas Star Bank. I've never had an issue with the Mckinney and Sherman locations while doing this but due to my primary job being moved to VA, I've been using this bank for 2-3 months now. I assume these ladies are new in the drive thru but after being told I would need to make a joint account or have my dad present in order to deposit checks, I do not think I will be coming back to this location. I understand a need for security and that's not my issue. My issue is why did it take 2-3 months for me to be told this when it was never an issue to begin with or not tell me anything right from the beginning? I will just stick with using the Sherman location but only on the weekends because by the time I get off work, banks are already closed.

  ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE BANK!!! 0/10 recommend. The app always delays and all charges/transfers take days to hit the account. So sad because Texas Star Bank was such a great small town bank! They will be losing our business after banking there for 15 years.
