  Dale De Jong is a master at his craft and provided a complete and seamless experience when purchasing our first home. Dale was as accommodating as one could be and always provided immediate and genuine responses to our multitude of questions. I never could have imagined the house mortgage process would involve such minimal work for me, but here we are! Dale kept us informed of every step, whether our intervention was necessary or not, and always made sure additional resources were available even without requesting them. Simply put, Dale does great work and will habitually put his clients first, making sure they are taken care of. His professional yet always fun and comfortable approach speaks volumes to his character and pride in his profession. My most notable experience working with Dale had to have been our impromptu call to him after hours while he was grilling.. He completely disregarded his meal (unbeknownst to us) and made sure we were taken care of. Thank you, Dale!

  I was and am very impressed with Bank Iowa. They made sure I got the best interest rate available. They kept me apprised of what was going on, what would happen next, explained everything that was happening or was going to happen next. The employees at Bank Iowa were/are very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and willing to help. What was, in my situation, even better, most of this was done via the computer as at the time I was refinancing my mortgage loan, I was unable to talk, I had no voice so almost all of the communication was by computer and they were very understanding of the fact that I was not able to communicate in person or on the phone. I would hands down recommend Bank Iowa. The two that I dealt with the most were Dale DeJong and Mike Maakestad, both were always available, seemed like any time of the day. I say this because since our communication was either email or text messages, they were replying before or after bank hours along with during bank hours.
