  We purchased a home in Pella at the end of October. We were blessed with a phenomenal realtor who led us to Diane and Marion County Bank. At the time we were working with a different mortgage company we had previously worked with. But after talking to Diane and her helping us through the process with some ideas we hadn't thought about (or been informed of), we decided to change directions and had Diane work on our loan. It was incredibly simple and seemed to take less time than the last house we bought just a year ago. We're thankful to be in Pella and to have had the experience we did with Marion County Bank!

  We have gone into this bank in an effort to aquire a small personal loan on a couple of occasions now to consolidate some debt and help raise my personal credit score and despite having a fair credit score and a good job which happens to direct deposit to our account here, we were denied and told we lack collateral. If this weren't irritating enough I am personally aware of someone who has been granted not one, not two, but 3 loans through this bank with poor credit, no income or job and without having.perhaps made payments on any of the prior loans perhaps it's just a case of who you know, but I personally view it as poor business and am currently looking at taking our accounts and business elsewhere .

  My wife and I had a great experience working with the team at Marion County Bank, specifically Diane, as we worked on our home loan. They were timely in their communication, fair in their rates, and made the closing process very easy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others!
