  Deposited a check today Saturday 12/11/21 drawn on a local bank. Was surprised to learn that 13.25% of the check amount will clear 12/15 however, 86.75% of the funds will be available 12/20/21. Lost me here - either the check clears or not. I would have understood it better if the entire check cleared 12/20 but to blatantly hold funds and earn the float for 5 days is wrong in so many ways...Can someone at BofA explain this to me?

  This is an extremely inefficient and inexperienced location. I arrived for my personal banking appointment at the start time of 11am and was not approached by a staff member nor the banker who was supposed to assist me (saw him sitting in his office on his cellphone) until 11:23am and was told that the banker had another appointment at 11:30am and couldn’t see me. I hope someone else doesn’t have to experience the same indecisive service.
