  Since Covid-19, Bank of America is not doing a good service to their customers. All drive-thru's are closed with in my town. The closet BOA would be a 40 min. drive, one way. They do not consider the elderly, who may not use electronic services or trust the deposit box to make a deposit. My husband and I both feel this way, too. Also, speaking for my mother, who never used or opened an ATM card, how would these elderly people make withdrawals for their money. When I spoke to a customer service, she had an answer for everything. Write a check was one! OK write a check to pay bills, yes, but alot of stores will not except checks! So, how do they get money, drive 40 min or so? I told her they should open at least one branch in every town with a drive-thru, Chase does! However, in the past, when I did need their help, my branch I go to, they were phenomenal. Just poor customer service during this pandemic! Please keep in mind, I have nothing against the BOA I use, they are just following what the higher up are saying to do. So, this one star is against the President or CEO not considering the inconvenience they are causing for their customer service.

  Why would anyone waste their money opening up a checking account with Bank of America when Capital One is free and even pays you interest. I opened up an account only because of the cashback bonus in which I met all the qualifications and they decided not to pay I spent hours on the phone and in the bank on this issue and it was not resolved correctly, this is a horrible Bank do not waste your time and money.
