  I should have paid attention to these reviews when i opened my account here. nevertheless i did it because it was a close bank and it was big so i assumed customer service would be better with a larger bank. I was wrong. I deposited a check into my account july 15th, and i was given a deposit slip that stated it would be available the following tuesday. I was alerted at 9:00pm later that day, that bank if america put an additional hold on my check and now it wouldnt be until the 26th that it would be available. I feel like BOA has been a complete bait and switch since the beginning. I was involved in an accident in march and havent been able to return to work. And BOA took every single chance they could to charge me overdraft fees, one of which acrued over $100.00 in a day. Despite me giving them direct instruction to simply decline the charges automatically, they still to this day charge me overdraft fees. I attempted to call bank of america saturday, Monday, tuesday, and Wednesday. They do not answer phones and the automated feature is absolutely useless. This bank is predatorial and is only looking to take your money. For a business entity that is worth $149.7 billion, they are easily the cheapest and scummiest banks ive ever dealt with. I will be canceling my account as soon as i recieve every single cent of my money. Bank of america has lost a customer and i will share my experience with anyone who will listen. read the reviews on bank of america corporate and this branch alone, do not bank here.
