  This is an excellent local bank for business banking. They are flexible and really understand the needs of small business banking. They are extremely helpful and have always added a personal touch to banking. In 2020 when the PPP loans were available they went above and beyond to take care of their customers. I can't thank Bank of SoCal enough for their hard work and help!

  This Bank is terrible! I would give it a negative rating if I could. I went there to open up a Savings Account. When I first walked in, it didn't look like a bank at all. It looked like some kind of office space rental with desks. The lady took down all my necessary info. Then she started to give me the 3rd degree as to why I was opening the account? Where was I going to get the money, where would the money come from? How often I would be making deposits, etc... I answered her questions. She then proceeded to dig further into my reasons to open an account. I could not believe the line of questioning she was asking me. Like I was some sort of criminal or drug dealer. I've never had a bank ask me questions like this before. She said not just anyone could open an account. She told me that she would have to check with her supervisor to get the OK to open me a savings account. I felt extremely uncomfortable in this place! She told me that I could go and that she emailed her boss to get the OK, and she would call me later that day. I never heard from her again. No phone call. No email. She refused to take my deposit of $500. She refused to open my savings account. This place looks like a "fly by night bank" that may not be in business a year from now! Lucky me, I saved $500 dollars!!! Stay clear of this place for sure!!!
