      BEWARE - DO NOT BANK WITH THIS BANK - They canceled my checking account a day after opening it without sending me any type of notification. My direct deposit came in a week later and was not received or processed due to the account being canceled. The online support and branch customer service will not help you as a client. They have no reason why my account was canceled and have not helped to get my account reopened. I would suggest using a bigger banking company or online banking keeping the minimum amount available. I should have trusted the reviews for this branch. I thought bank of the west was a respectable bank and now this one of the worst banking experiences I've ever had. I would not recommend this bank to my friends, family or a stranger.
