I am so happy to share my review regarding working with Becky Pederson, our Loan Officer. We chose Stockman Bank because we heard good things about Stockman’s from the local people. We came from out of state so we relied upon the opinion of reputable individuals. Becky was very responsive, always answered us promptly and she knows her business and she’s easy to talk to, honest and professional and very friendly. I had power of Attorney for my Marine son. Pederson was shown a Marine PoA, Montana Real ID, and still claimed I was impersonating my son. Refused to allow me to start a mortgage, which was the first permission of the Power of Attorney. The Stockman Bank experience cost my son a 3 bdr full basement on 5 acres priced at $273,000. This has cost my son the ability for a fair value of home ownership. Refused to disclose grants or the ability of them. Also Refused to combine buying power of a non vet to a Veterans VA, which is 100% allowed by the VA. The bank only gets a guarantee of the Veterans portion. A conventional loan has 0% guarantee.
