  *Updated review after visiting my local BMO branch which I absolutely love and here is why ... I went in yesterday to open a checking/savings account and the experience exceeded my expectations. The bank VP Branch manager ™️ Darlene Flores made me feel very comfortable about my financial decisions moving forward ,also she gave me some great advice as a new client. It has been a very long time since I've been treated so well. I left feeling uplifted and happy.Very grateful I found a great Bank with someone I trust. I'll be doing all my banking with BMO and this particular branch for a very long time.They get a extra star💯☆☆☆☆☆ "☆" After I go there tomorrow morning to open my new checking ✔️ account and get my Debit Card...I handled everything @BMO online and was given a account # and routing # . Took 5 minutes. BMO Online banking is easy and straight forward. I called my local branch at Calumet Ave. In Hammond and the woman I spoke with Marisal I believe was her name was ...very nice ,professional and able to make me feel welcome already.

  I am a new customer. Diana and Darlene were very nice. I'm giving the 3 as when I got a call regarding a check whomever I spoke w didn't forewarn me I would be INTERROGATED by their fraud dept and made to feel like a legal settlement check from Bank Of America was fake, I was treated like I personally was fraudulent by the man who called me from the fraud dept. Asking me all sorts of stupid questions. I get the basic questions of course but there were offensive ones. I have dealt w migraines for over 30 years and my memory was shot. I was treated like I was being fraudulent because I couldn't remember all the details regarding the settlement check. I was so upset when getting of the phone after that man out me through all of that to in fact deposit my check I'm sketchy on if I want to keep this account. My ptsd was so triggered I've been upset all day. The fraud dept crossed the line today when I deposited that legal check. Unbelievable.
