  This bank was recommended to me by a good friend. That was about twenty years ago. I've enjoyed a great, efficient relationship ever since. A few glitches as they transitioned to the larger corporation BOK (always hate to see that, generally less satisfaction guaranteed), but they've held their own. Can't imagine why anyone would choose the mega, impersonal banks.

  Terrible customer service!! I went to the prairie village branch to cash some checks (normally bank at the Brookside location). From the start they made me feel like I’m some con artist. Asked me multiple times if I had an account there. The first teller passed me off to a manager or a lead teller not sure which one. I answered all the security questions for him. He was extremely rude told me they could not cash my checks because “they don’t know me” proceeded to tell me they didn’t know me about 4 more times. I mentioned to him that I am a client at the bank and usually go to Brookside and I didn’t understand why the had to “know” me to cash a check. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I came up with different solutions to help me get the cash I needed and he denied both. Still saying “they didn’t know me”. Could not believe it was that difficult to cash a couple checks!!

  This has been my bank since the 90's. People have retired but they always seem to get the same kind of people. Good, reliable and dependent. You want to be a member of a good bank? Mobank is where you wanna be.
