  Simply exceptional service. John Hamamy is a superstar of a lender. Always available to help troubleshoot any hiccups along the way, incredibly personable and knowledgeable. My wife and I could not have had an easier and more seamless process applying for our first home mortgage. Applying for a mortgage can seem like a daunting task but we were guided by the great folks at Fountain Mortgage. I highly recommend!

  I have had nothing but issues with this firm from day one. They issued me a preapproval letter in February. With this letter I went out and put an offer in on a home. Due to some personal paperwork issues that were unforeseen we had to make a pivot once the offer was accepted. They recommended an alternative Mortage firm till those issues could be addressed. this firm was willing to help but it added over 800$ a month to the mortage. I knew that the payment was doable so i signed on knowing that the issues should be resolved shortly and that the need for the house was imminent. Now five months later i submit all the missing documents and inform Ms. Waters. She says they will be submitted to underwriting for review. Two weeks pass and i hear nothing, so I reach out again. It takes her over a day to respond and inform me that they have declined the income. When I reach out to address this with her, she was very short and did not want to explain the reason other than there was a decline in income. When asked what that means she said that the regulations wouldn't allow for a decline in income of the amount. As I remember back when this all started, I informed this company that due to the family reasons we were buying this house I had taken three months off in 2021 tax year. They told me that this would not be an issue. NOW IT IS. I was lied to. I was taken advantage of. However, the worst part was her attitude. If there was a negative rating this company would have earned it. to make matters worse I review all of the reviews and they seemed to be a company wanting and willing to help first time home buyers. I guess only the ones that they want to help. This company is a fraud and manipulative. The fact that you can hardly find a bad review on google would point to them trying to maintain an image but blocking the negative interactions. I can't be the only one with a negative interaction. They took advantage of someone who was in a family crisis (lost home in a fire, needing a place to live and bring 84-year-old uncle to live with) and then blew them off. They were rude disrespectful and unwilling to find other ways to help after they pointed me in a direction that saddled me with an inflated mortage. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER!

  Mr. Bailey, allow me to address just a few of the false statements in your review. 1) Companies are not able to block, hide, or remove Google reviews. 2) We pre-approved you in February and the "personal paperwork" issues you mentioned were that your co-borrower had not filed taxes in several years. 3) We referred you to a company that offers a rent to own program. We aren't affiliated with them and don't receive any referral fees or other compensation. We simply gave you the phone number as an option to get into your chosen home. You entered into any agreement with them on your own. 4) Our employee that you mentioned spent more than 30 minutes on the phone with you in just the last call alone. She patiently explained many times that your income had gone down in 2021 from 2020 (which was unknown in February because you had not yet filed 2021 taxes), making you ineligible for the loan amount you were seeking. While we certainly sympathize with the stress you've experienced in trying to purchase your home, my team has invested valuable time and resources over the last six months consulting and advising you on your options. We don't earn a penny until someone closes on a home loan, so we have a vested interest in making every effort to help them do just that. Unfortunately, not every borrower can meet the minimum lending guidelines, but we provide unlimited consulting free of charge to help get everyone on the path to home ownership. - Mike Miles, CEO

  Matt helped us with our loan process and was very responsive and made the experience great. I would highly recommend Fountain Mortgage if you are looking for a home loan.
