  My experience in new Vienna Office was great-start to finish. My current bank, United, is right next door. United told me they couldn't help me with redeeming savings bonds and to "come back another time". I guess they were too busy at that time but no one was even in their bank. NO ONE. So I just walked next door to Burke and Herbert. They did it all efficiently. I like a regional Bank vs the bigger chains like United. I ended up in United not by choice but through bank buyouts of smaller banks. All of my business accounts and personal accounts, and any banking needs, are moving to Burke. Highly recommended in Vienna.

  I wanted to try a local bank for my refinancing of my own house. I have a great credit score, good income and good equity in my house. Their loan department knew about a crooked business partner land foreclosure (from years ago) I voluntarily mentioned from the beginning, and chose to give me a run around for two months and later turn down the loan at the last minute for that very reason. I should have figured them earlier by having to wait for an appraiser for over one month, and the appraiser not even getting the number of bedrooms and baths right, let alone the appraisal itself. Very disappointed at this unprofessional bank, and I don't think they know what they are doing. I certainly don't recommend anybody to waist their time with theses guys.

  Personal service is their hallmark. I trust them and always feel taken care of there. They go above and beyond to take care of their customer. Have been banking there since 1973 and prefer them over the national and global bank chains by far.
