      Update: We received an apology from Steele and were refunded the fees we paid. We submitted all of our paperwork to Butterworth & Macias a month prior to taxes being due. We heard that they received everything and would begin working on our taxes. When we didn't hear anything 3 days before taxes were due, we were told they filed an extension. This would have been nice to know. We then followed up a week later to know where our taxes were and Steele was unable to tell us what was happening and never followed up with us. I then call their office, and their receptionist assures me there will be no fees for filing late. Weeks later, they finally finish our taxes, and to my surprise there was over $150 in fees we owed to the IRS because we filed late and absolutely no explanation of our taxes owed (which was a lot more than we expected). The lack of communication, deceitfulness, and unprofessionalism is aggravating to say the least. To top it off our bill is over $500 that we owe B&M for poor services.
