      I really liked the bank when it was still Ev Bank & Trust; people knew you and were friendly. Byline bought it, and there were a few hiccups in the transition. Some of those I knew are still there and are still personable and helpful. I haven't had to transact anything difficult yet under the new owners. Hope all is still the same in regard to personal service.

      I feel like First Bank & Trust was a small bank that took care of it’s customers, and Byline is a big, corporate bank with profit making as it’s driving force. After three instances where they charged me unexpected fees, I’m looking for another bank. Postscript: I went to the bank and complained, and they reversed two of the extra fees, so I’m staying with them.

      Since they switched over to byline bank they just got worse. I've been waiting on my debit card for three weeks now and every week its being Expedited to me and nothing came. Then management is no help either
