  My paycheck is from this bank and they will not allow me to physically cash it without basically having a bank account; all the information none of the backing. I give them my id for confirmation and they want more.

  I only have a car loan payment through them and their online bill pay portal is awful. It’s old, out of date, and not easy to use. They of course want you to open a bank account with them to get a minuscule discount on your loan. I had to jump through hoops just to request a different due date which most companies let you do online. I’m very happy that I will never have them handling my money, they seem ill prepared.

  This has by far been one of the worst banking experiences of my life. I got a car loan through them and not only could I not make the payment online, there was a $20 fee to make it over the phone. So every time I needed to make a payment I had to drive about an hour out of my way. Then when my car was in an accident and rendered unsafe to drive and thus was being fixed, they refused to defer the payments on a vehicle I couldn’t drive nor did I even have it in my possession. Now my car has been totaled out and CNB has been paid handsomely by my insurance company, paid by the gap insurance but is still barking up my a** for a car I don’t even have anymore. Not to mention the woman making phone calls about these matters has an attitude like she works in a bar, subpar banking all around. Save your time and a headache, and take a loan out with LITERALLY ANYONE else. From Ally to ESL anyone is better.
