      As a person whose formal education included multiple courses on finance, accounting, investments, and other financial principles, I figured Capstone would give me advice I already knew. WOW, I WAS WRONG. They led me to thoughts and financial planning I had never before considered. Since working with them, I have recommended them to hundreds, including friends, family members, and colleagues. If every person around the globe implemented the recommendations Capstone provides, the world would be a very different place...and probably one of unimaginable prosperity.

      We were overcharged 0.30% for 6 months of fees when my mother's account crossed one of the fee tier thresholds and they didn't adjust. I had to point it out to them, though these percentages are clearly stated on the quarterly reports next to the portfolio totals and resultant fee amounts. If they are not on top of what should be a foundational element of how they run their business, it does not instill great confidence in their attention to detail in managing a portfolio. They said "the system" didn't adjust the amounts. So, know the tiers and check your statements carefully if you work with them.

When we learned of the discrepancy, we immediately adjusted your mother's fee percentage, and her account was fully credited the difference. We have recently adopted a tiered fee schedule which automatically calculates breakpoints, avoiding the need for manual adjustments.
