  **Charlie Smiley** I'm not known for my largesse, in terms of positive reviews. No, no I am not. Charlie Smiley, enigmatic and energized, has done something to change that..... earned it. I owe the man my life. OK, perhaps my quality of life, saving the histrionics. He put a crippled, amazingly good looking guy into the home of his dreams. Most said, "impossible", a few promised the moons of Jupiter (read.. click bait). Charlie, put me in my home on the beach, and comfortably so. He had little resources with his prior outfit, I had little resources in that prior life. Charlie chose to forgo his commission to level the competitive playing field. That's a true man of integrity and ingenuity. I believe him to be so still, although swinging a much larger stick. It's uncomfortable for me to ask for help ..... I never had to. My needs became needless, before a bead of sweat could form. I swear, he knows 'a guy' for anything. Need piano lessons, "I know a guy". Need a good insurer, "I know a great boutique for your unique needs...I know a guy." I moved 4400 km, with my fully insured cat riding shotgun in my fully insured car - which passed customs at the boarder (I don't know how, but I'm sure Charlie new a guy). The man cares. That's so difficult to say these days, without sounding sardonic or campy. My journey became an adventure as Charlie texted with me through Des Moines, Omaha, Salt Lake, Cheyenne and Boise. Making sure I was safe and reliving his own Western route from 'back in the day'. That reflects so much more then a home finance specialist. That is a damn super hero to me. Anyway, I've not read a review that punched me viscerally, writing this 'memoir' has, however. I tell of the personal attention, the attention to detail, simply because he won't. Not the big-little things acted upon; making manageable, such an undertaking. Burdening himself with the minutia that surrounds the larger narrative, so I'd not have to. Before this turns into a damn love letter.... A+ experience.
