      The people at this bank accepted a check from my Spanish speaking employee to deposit to her account but then told her they couldn't cash it because it was too large and they needed to do "some research". They refused to give her her check back. They actually deposited to her account and they shut her account down! I helped her report them to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and they flat out told her that this was a form of racism and had an attorney get her all of her money back. If I hadn't helped her they would've kept her money and assumed that her speaking Spanish meant she couldn't do anything about it.
