  Get charged a $10 fee to cash a small amount Chase Bank check if don't have a Chase account and a valid drivers license alone is not sufficient as proof of ID. Pathetic!

  Chase bank what is wrong with you ? Cashier was quiet and serious. I bought a $20.00 dls money order, and I was charged $5.00dls for it. Why? I am a customer and I have had my account for years. Okay, cashier said I could go to Walmart to get it cheaper. What? Why? Why should I go to Walmart and buy it there? No. Okay, I bought it. I don’t have time for games. I go to the post office and while waiting for my turn the person in front of me buys a money order. I did not know one could buy money orders in the post office. I asked the kind cashier(Denise) how much do money orders cost ? She said up to $100.00dls costs $1.45 dls wwhhaaaattt!!! I just got robbed in my own bank. My experience today at this branch of Chase was not pleasant at all and knowing they over charged money orders. Makes feel really sad. Now you know go to the post office or Walmart to purchase money orders better there. I want to add that I bought checks at Chase bank too. Yes, I did. The cashier at the moment ask me if the checks were going to have only my name. No, never ask for checks for myself only. My husband and I have a joint account. Really? Oh checks too I think are pricey $20.00 dls no copy $24.00dls with copy.
