  I have been a Chase customer for over 20 years. I have a checking account, a savings account and several Chase credit cards. Recently, one of my accounts has started to have a $12 “service fee”. I call it a “lack of service fee”. Apparently someone changed the rules. This nickel and diming, and lack of consideration for the total business that a customer has with Chase is beyond comprehension especially since I am being bombarded with mail solicitations for additional business. As soon as I am physically able to go down to the branch and close my accounts, I will. And I intend to close all my credit card accounts, also. The total loss of business will equal most likely almost $100,000 this year. What an extreme disappointment for an institution such as Chase used to be to stoop to these low levels.

  This Chase location has the worst customer service. 1. They don't pick up the phone. If you want to get in touch with them, you have to go through another Chase location in Monterey. 2. I've worked at a bank before and we would not turn a customer away if we were still open. I came to Chase a few minutes before they were closing after walking a long way from Presidio of Monterey, and finally getting an Uber when my phone was about to die, so I could make it to them on time. They would not serve me. I was told to go to UPS. They still thanked me for my service though. As I will not get to tell them face to face or over the phone, I am doing so here: I don't do it for people like you who don't know what "service" is, even as you are working in the service industry-- people who only repeat the phrase mechanically. This coming from you after treating me so horribly was nothing more than an additional insult.
