When making a loan payment and you want to pay extra on your principle hang on. Your extra money that you think is going to your principle is not. It is placed in a separate account until it builds up to make another payment. So then you end up ahead on payments. I wish I would have went with Chase. With Chase any extra money you pay on your loan goes directly on your principle.. Chemical Bank does not want you to pay off anything early that's for sure. I would not recommend dealing with these clowns for any type of loan. Unfortunately I am stuck at the moment and now jumping through hoops to pay directly on my principle.. I don't blame the staff, its the the way upper Management set this up apparently.
