Recently bought two properties in the San Juans Islands and the agents/seller's agent used Chicago Title of Washington, located in Friday Harbor. Both experiences were 1 star at best. The entire closing team on their end was unresponsive to an imaginable account. They never gave us any info until pestered multiple times. There was no timeline laid out for us, or any info to keep us abreast of the situation. It was like pulling teeth. Their transparency and forthcoming about any issues was non existent, and they certainly don't have the buyer's side in any of the process. If you are looking to buy real estate in the area and end up with Chicago Title company of Washington, located in Friday Harbor, I urge you to find a new/different title company.
