We have had our taxes done 2 years in a row here and have had issues both years. Last year, my fiance's tax return was deposited into his ex wife's account and they offered no assistance. This year, my tax return was not filed for several weeks after I signed it. Had I not been checking for the status, I'm not sure how long it would have taken them to discover it. After they realized their error, they submitted a tax return different than the one I reviewed and signed! Once again, with no status online or assistance from their office, I called the IRS several times to find out that I was not actually receiving a return, but owed money! It is beyond unacceptable to have submitted a different tax return than the one I reviewed and signed, especially when the difference was drastic enough to become negative. We will be finding a new accountant this year.
